Terms & Conditions for Certification:
In order to obtain certification you must attend 100% of the course and be able to demonstrate the skills to the required standard. This is a requirement of the Canadian Red Cross and WSIB. No refunds will be issued if you are late, or do not meet the required standards for certification. It is the responsibility of the individual participant to ensure they are registering for the course that meets their own individual requirements, to meet any prerequisites, and to ensure their certification is kept up to date. In any case where books and/or materials are provided in advance; as soon as the materials have been received by the student there is no refund.

Cancellations/No shows:
If you cancel at least 10 business days or more before the course date, you will receive a full refund less an administration fee of $25 + HST. If you cancel less than 10 business days before the course date, or do not show up for your course, you will not receive a refund.

If you are sick on the day of the course, please obtain a note from your doctor and send it to our office by email [email protected] or by fax 613.443.2027 within 10 days of the course date. On receipt of the doctor’s note, we will transfer your registration free of charge to the next available date that suits you.

For e-learning or blended learning courses:
no refund will be given once the access/invitation code has been issued. Participants who do not attend the scheduled Day-2 Practical Training session, will be given a grade of “0”, the course status will reflect “Fail”. If the participant is within the two-week required attendance of the Day-2 Practical Training session, a $50 non-refundable fee to re-schedule and attend another Day-2 Practical Training session will apply. If the participant is not within the two-week required attendance of Day-2 Practical Training session, the participant must repeat the entire course. No refund will be given.

Transfers:
If you need to transfer to a different course date, please contact our office before the course date with as much notice as possible. Transfers are subject to an administration fee of $25 + HST.

Ménard Safety Courses reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a course. Most of our courses run as scheduled, however if there is insufficient enrollment we may have to cancel or reschedule. In this event, your registration will be transferred to another date or, you may receive a full refund.
